*sigh*
Okay, so I think I've mentioned before how sometimes characters can take on a life of their own and do things that I don't expect?
Well after I wrote that whole blog yesterday about how I wasn't going to do alternate endings for Venus School because I couldn't see the characters doing anything but the one ending that I had originally planned for them anyway, Chris and Justin got all insulted that I thought they weren't each good enough on their own and had to go about proving me wrong. Jessica and I both feel like Ado Annie from Oklahoma, we cain't say no... but I did limit their individual times and told them that they had to be quick about getting their solo careers in, because this chapter was already taking plenty long for me to write!
So that's what I'm working on, almost exclusively today. I'm about halfway through the last chapter. If I finish it I'll start working on Chapter 3 of Sarah's Private Dick - Chapter 2 is now available on Literotica. Still no sex, but the story line is moving right along and things are definitely getting steamier.
Here's a little excerpt from what I have so far on the conclusion for Venus School:
Jessica had never been more relieved than when Greg was pulled away from her. Obviously more than a little drunk, he’d been getting more and more handsy, and Hilary had been too involved in what looked like actual fun dancing with Bryan to notice immediately. And Jessica hadn’t wanted to ruin the good connection for her friend, so she’d been trying to keep it quiet.
As she looked up at the broad shoulders in front of her, the dark wavy hair of the man who had come to her rescue, Hilary was suddenly standing at her side, babbling apologies for not noticing sooner what was happening.
“Back off,” she heard her rescuer say, and Jessica froze. That silhouette… that voice… When he turned and looked down at her with those commanding dark eyes, she knew for sure.
“Flood,” she whispered. Although it was far too loud for him to have heard her over the music, it was obvious that he knew what she had just said, that she recognized him.
Her entire world turned over in a series of flip flops, sizzling in her stomach. Not only did she recognize him as Mr. Flood, but she realized that he worked with her too. She’d seen him and another devastatingly handsome guy hanging out with her work crowd at happy hours before… oh my god, that must have been Fire. The first instinct was to look around for Fire, wondering if he was here too… he couldn’t be far away, the two of them were such a team. Surely if Mr. Flood was here than Mr. Fire was as well.

Happy Fourth of July!
Sooooo... I have inadvertently created confusion for people who don't read my blog. Venus School Chapter 20 is out and a lot of people are already asking that it not be the last chapter... oops. I should have written an author's note or something at the end of it, but since I always (at least I think almost always) put the word "conclusion" in the story description anytime I write a last chapter I thought people would understand. But then I realized that the story description says "last class" which can be kind of ambiguous. Oops.
Something for fun... I've started to create new "pages" for my blog. If you look up at the top of my blog it now says "Home" and then next to it says "Poker Loser Trilogy" and "Venus Rising Series". If you're ever curious about what's going on with those Kindle books, you can just click on those pages for updates. =) This is me trying to streamline my blog and make it more interesting / easier to find the things that people might want. Yay!

Almost Done with Venus!
Today I finished and submitted the second to last chapter of Venus School... it's going to be so hard to say goodbye to Jessica, Chris and Justin! Although of course I'm not really saying a complete goodbye since I'm going to be working on a follow-up Kindle eBook for them, but at the same time it does make me sad to know that I'm finishing the series.
Continuing to work on finished up Venus School and also on the next chapter of Sarah's Private Dick =)
Kind of amused at the age controversy that's apparently surrounding A Little Knowledge right now. That one came out FAST! I've known a lot of people who were incredibly naive all the way through high school, and they weren't even sheltered like the two main characters were. I still remember having to argue with my best friend, when she was fifteen, because she would not believe me that a blow job was the same thing as sucking dick.
By the way, her demonstration of what she thought a "blow" job consisted of cracked me up and probably would have horrified any guy that she tried it on LOL.
And she wasn't even home schooled =P
Not that there aren't plenty of people who are home schooled who aren't ignorant at all. But I have also seen home schooling used in an abusive kind of sheltering way, in which the children seriously were not socialized and had no idea how to interact with people outside of their own family. Personally I find it sad, but it was also part of what drew me to this particular reader's request. My opinion is that too much sheltering and not enough knowledge can lead to unforeseen consequences, because people like to experiment. And sometimes we just do things, knowing that we shouldn't.
At any rate, it was an interesting story to write and the responses that it's garnering are fascinating to me. My next series, once I'm done with Venus School, is also going to be Incest/Taboo, by a reader request. That one should be really interesting, although hopefully people are kinder in their comments about the sexiness of the fantasy, because she's actually messaging me rather often with ideas and ways to round out her fantasy.
It makes it interesting and keeps me from having the same character over and over =) Nice to be able to branch out and try some new things!

Incest/Taboo and Requests
Okay... so first things first. Chapter 19 of Venus School is out on Literotica =) I'm about halfway through Chapter 20, writing wise. YAY! Although it's making me a little sad cuz so many people in the story are depressed about having the week of school end. But I'm also really excited for Chapter 21... when Jessica goes home! Also, the first Chapter to my new series, Sarah's Private Dick is also out. It doesn't have any sex in it, but those of you who like the longer plot lines will (I hope) enjoy it.
Anyway... moving on to my main topic of the day, because I've had two recent requests for some interesting Incest/Taboo story lines. I submitted one yesterday because it was a stand alone story. Nice and easy to write and flowed rather well. The next one is going to be my next series.
This category always fascinates me, mostly because it's not a fantasy I've ever had but it's hands down the one I get the most requests for. And the one I originally had the most trouble writing for. When I first started writing in the category it was because I had entered the Survivorphile contest and had to try my hand at writing in every category (although I could and did enter the lottery to get out of writing in some categories, I needed that for the audio / illustrated categories because I didn't have any audio equipment or good pictures). The first few times I tried writing in it, everybody getting it on was a step-relation. After awhile I just started leaving the step off and writing the same kind of story.
The forbidden part of the story seems to be what interests people, as far as I can tell. The reluctance, the seduction, the struggle to do something that the characters know isn't right. But it's not as violent (usually) as the Non-Consent category, and there's more of a struggle than there is with Mind Control. It's not my kink, but I try to fulfill the requests that I get.
My trick for writing them? I picture them as Hentai characters rather than real people. Which is probably why my Incest/Taboo stories tend to have more force in them than a lot of people like. Because I'm not picturing real people LOL.
Yesterday I submitted one of my few Incest/Taboo stories where there isn't force. I'm kind of curious what the response will be. The reader request was rather fascinating (to me), about a brother and sister who were home-schooled and so sheltered by their parents that when left alone for a weekend they end up exploring each other's bodies and having sex without really knowing what they were doing. I thought that was a really interesting set-up and not at all my usual, which made it fun (the series I'll be writing next is more along the lines of my usual, but with a few twists and I'm actively working with the requesting party to put it together, which makes it fun and challenging in a whole new way for me)
The standalone, A Little Knowledge, should be out in a couple of days, but for fun, here's an excerpt:
"Want to play doctor?" he asked hopefully.
Doctor was a game that they'd started years and years ago, like most little boys and girls, giggling over the differences in their anatomy. But they hadn't played doctor in years. It was a half remembered game for them, one from their childhood that they hadn't been able to continue playing as they'd gotten older, knowing, with that sure instinct of naughty children, that if they were caught, their parents wouldn't approve. Not at all. So they hadn't played.
Heather lit up. Doctor had been one of her favorite games growing up, and playing an old game seemed the perfect way to get closer to her big brother again. Mom had gotten possessive of her as she'd gotten older, and while she loved spending time with her mother, she missed her brother. Now they could return to the times when they'd been so close growing up. And she had the perfect suggestion to make.
"Can we play new doctor?"
"New doctor?" her brother asked, perplexed.
Heather nodded, her blonde pony-tail bobbing eagerly. She looked so cute in her pink button down shirt and white linen slacks. "I went to a new doctor last week remember? Because I'm a woman now."
"Oh yeah," Blake remembered that, although he hadn't realized that there was anything new about this kind of doctor. "Did they do things differently?"
Giggling, Heather nodded. "Lots! Come on, I'll show you."
Within twenty minutes Heather was wearing nothing but her bathrobe - which was the closest she could get to the thin paper robe that the doctor had provided - belted in the front and Blake had her lying back on a Lazy boy chair, her pretty slim legs draped over the arms of the chair, spreading her thighs. As Blake looked down at his sister's naked legs, he could feel his penis stirring... it did that sometimes although he wasn't always sure why. At night sometimes he would wake up to the most wonderful feeling... but when he'd tried to ask his father about it, his dad had just told him that they'd have the talk someday and that, in the meantime, he shouldn't touch himself to try and make that wonderful feeling happen.
"Okay, so now you open my robe and you massage my breasts."

Magic Mike
Yesterday I submitted Chapter 19 of Venus School and Chapter 1 of Sarah's Private Dick. I think that Venus School got pretty hot... I tried hard considering that my favorite trio took a more expected sexual position for a Menage this time, my goal was to try and keep it kind of new and fresh despite that. Hopefully I succeeded =) She also has a conversation with Nick. I like that kid a lot. Definitely going to do something with him at some point.
I'm really happy with the first chapter of Sarah's Private Dick too, even though there's (gasp!) no sex. I know, I started out Submission with no sex as well, but there's barely a hint of sex in this one and it's MUCH longer than the first chapter of Submission. In fact, the most interaction between the two main characters is over the phone. But I had a lot of story to set up. And character to develop. Tension to build. =) Overall I think that people will like it hopefully, but I did warn that there would be no sex in the first chapter. Probably not in the second either. But I think I may have another two favorite characters coming up in this. They make me happy.

NOW. On to the title of this post. I went to see Magic Mike last night... the first thirty minutes of the movie I was like yes, this is awesome, holy crap did you see that body roll that Channing Tatum just did where he was humping down against the stage, I want to be under him! Also... got a lot of Channing Tatum ass shots. Without the thong. One was within the first five minutes of the movie... you would think this would guarantee a good movie, but unfortunately there was plot. And the plot was... a little long. To me, the main relationship wasn't developed enough, and at the same time the rest of the plot took too long. It dragged a little. Pacing was weird.
Unfortunately it did end up mattering what the movie was about. More than I expected it to. However... the parts where there was sexy dancing and hilarity were great. Also, someone they don't show, was Kevin Nash. Whom I recognized immediately. Which makes me cool. Just saying.
Overall it just wasn't what I expected. I think if they had shown more of the plot during previews it would have bothered me as much, but what I got from the previews was - 1. stripping 2. love story. But there's another story going on in there, about how the lifestyle of stripping turns to drugs, drinking, etc. and it ends up taking up most of the time. It was rather depressing. Which... is not what I thought would happen when I watched the movie. They almost made up for it with the ending.
I would like to take the first thirty minute and the last fifteen and squish them together. Oh, and add a sex scene. THAT would be a good movie. To me =) Or, at least, it would be more of the movie that I saw advertised.
Speaking of advertisements... whoever decided to do two previews of INCREDIBLY SCARY MOVIES before Magic Mike is a dumbass and an asshole.

Masters of the Shadowlands
Ugh. Still sick. GO AWAY EVIL SICKNESS. Bah. I haven't been able to talk with a normal voice since Monday evening. Lovely. Anyway... on to the good stuff...
I've submitted Chris Hemsworth: Sex God (woot!) which made me very happy. Definitely the longest standalone story I've ever written. I hope people enjoy the long build-up and don't get frustrated with me... and hopefully also enjoy the glimpse into myself. I'm halfway through the next chapter of Venus School and I've also started work on my next series, which is going to be called Sarah's Private Dick and will be in the Interracial category. It's going to be a much more involved story (plot and character development wise) than I usually do and I'm really looking forward to basically writing a book that I'll be posting on Literotica. So far it's looking like the first chapter isn't going to have any sex in it at all, because I'm building up the plot line. I have to thank a reader for the story idea, which was so wonderfully involved in their description of what they wanted to read that it's making it really easy to put together an erotic romance. Hopefully they aren't disappointed that it's not straight up erotica =P
I don't know why I can't just concentrate on one series at a time, but I can't. It's easier for me to write if I can switch back and forth between two. Usually the two series feed off of each other - Submission and Venus School definitely did. And it tends to add an extra dynamic to both that I'm working on. So if anyone's wondering why I'm starting a new series when I still have one to finish... that's why. =) I just can't do one at a time! (Kinda like Jessica... hmmmm ;)
At any rate, wanted to talk a bit about an author that I've started reading a LOT of, that really has some fantastic BDSM books with incredibly yummy Doms. Cherise Sinclair's Masters of the Shadowlands series is fantastic (as is her involvement in the Doms of Darkhaven books). I was a little skeptical after reading the first Masters of the Shadowlands series, because the Dom in it is an empath and I don't really like mixing my sex with my fantasy, but that is the ONLY book where there's anything psychic/fantastical/supernatural and it's not made a huge deal of. The rest of them are all incredibly delicious Doms, with a variety of issues, mixing with fun (and occasionally hilarious) subs, all with their own variety of issues. She weaves some seriously fantastic story lines and I have a lot to learn from her.
So that's what I've been reading while I've been sick, and has been keeping me motivated for writing (along with all the wonderful people who have left comments/feedback for me to read on Lit and here =) I'm hoping to get the next Venus Chapter submitted by the end of today, along with the first chapter of Sarah's Private Dick.
