Toy Review: Nipple Clamps

So, the very first time I ever tried nipple clamps was the tweezer kind:

A Quickie w Release Goals

Quickie update because I'm focused mostly on getting writing done...

Still waiting for Literotica to release Marriage Training Ch. 4.  It was submitted on Friday so really, hopefully, any minute now.

I submitted another story over the weekend (a stand-alone) called Surprising His Sitter.  Not the usual 18 year old virgin sitter being caught by the Dad... at least I hope not.  And not just because I made the sitter 21.  It's in the Erotic Couplings category, which is not one I spend much time in but I think I needed a little bit of a break from all the BDSM, domestic discipline and general naughtiness.  It allowed me to clear my head... and also relax a little because the plot was not nearly as involved.  I think my next series after Marriage Training is going to be a little easier on my brain.  Right now everything I'm writing is so plot heavy... I need a bit of a break.  Which is why I wrote the standalone, to give me a mini-break.

Venus Transcendent is going well, I'll be posting a new teaser here on the blog by this weekend. Choosing a teaser is not actually all that easy.  Wanna give some new information without giving too much away...

And Dealing With Discipline is also going well, although more slowly since I'm not as focused on it. One of the Amazon reviews on Birching His Bride was complaining that it was a double cliffhanger, but to be honest I didn't really see it that way.  Eleanor had a revelation that kind of started a new part of her story.  Also, I specifically wanted Dealing with Discipline to be about both of the couples (Eleanor and Edwin; Irene and Hugh) because Irene and Hugh are going to be out in the country for their honeymoon for the first half of the book and continuing Eleanor and Edwin's story allows me to also show what's going on in London while they're away.  Which is important to future storylines.  So everything's done for a reason.

Anyway, I've got some newer goals for when things are going to be released based off of the amount of writing that I've been getting done now that my day job's busy season is slowing down and I'm no longer working overtime:

Venus Transcendent: First week of May

Dealing with Discipline: June

Stronghold (Master Adam's book): Late July / Early August

Seduction by Spanking (Domestic Discipline Book 3): Late August / Early September

Why's the Sex Gone?

Because so far there is none going on in Marriage Training LOL.  I hope that people don't mind that.  And it's going to be awhile before there actually is any intercourse.  Chapter 4 isn't quite as exciting as I have a feeling many people were hoping, (although there is a spanking and an orgasm in it) because I needed to set up how Vivian's training is going to work.  The good news is that I now have pretty much all the exposition done (and it only took me four chapters... gee...) and the pacing should pick up substantially because I don't need to do as much explanation.

I am planning on making Marriage Training into a Kindle book, and part of the reason the chapters are taking so long is that the Kindle book is going to have a lot of extra information / scenes in it... and I'm writing the book concurrently with the Lit story and just deleting all the extra Kindle stuff before submitting it to Lit.  And there IS a lot more sex in the version for Kindle... it's just not Vivian (or Gabriel) that's getting it ;) wooooo mystery!!!! lol. 

Yesterday I focused almost exclusively on MT until I finished chapter 4 so that I could submit it... and then I decided to give my brain a break and work a bit of the standalone story that I mentioned has been running around my head.  It's giving me a chance to refresh my brain before diving back into the stuff that I've been working on... the longer books are harder because there's so much information that I have to keep in mind.  Doing a quick story that's not connected to anything else is like taking a little break, but while still being productive.

I do feel like I'm making pretty good progress in Venus...  I've gotten several chapters written over the past week and a half, which is a really great amount of work for that time frame, and (even more importantly) I've been able to re-write the outline to my satisfaction.  Because the outline that I originally had no longer fit the way the characters and story had developed.  So now I finally have my road map laid out again, and since it's the last book there's less of a chance of them deviating from it. It's going to be a fairly long book, going by the outline, but I'm hopeful to have it done in early May if I keep up the same amount of progress that I've had recently.

So all good news!!! Chapter 4 of Marriage Training should be out sometime next week and I'll also post a new teaser for Venus sometime next week as well.  Some work is being done on Dealing With Discipline, but obviously not quite as much as for the other two projects.  Plus I just posted stuff for that earlier this week (see previous blog post).

A Peek at Dealing With Discipline

So, I was a bit of a writing machine yesterday, which made me happy. Got a lot of work done on all three of my projects. 

 

I have a new tab for the Domestic Discipline Quartet (top of this page, the tabs for all my books that are out).  The cover for Dealing with Discipline has been on there for awhile, I've now added a little teaser since I managed to finish the first chapter yesterday and actually have something to tease you with!  

 

If my pace continues at the rate it has been, Dealing With Discipline will be released much earlier than originally anticipated.  Which would be awesome. I much prefer being early than late. 

 

Although I spent more time on Venus than Discipline yesterday, for some reason I'm struggling a bit with Venus whereas Discipline is almost flowing.  I think it's because I know exactly where Discipline is going, whereas the characters in Venus have gone far off the planned track and I'm just doing my best to catch up with them. Even though I spent less actual time working on Discipline, I think I got about the same amount of words written for both of them.  That just happens sometimes.  

 

I think I'm about halfway through the fourth chapter of Marriage Training... got some done on that as well.  I'm really looking forward to Vivian's first training session, because (to be honest) I have no idea what's going to be involved with it at the moment! Mrs. Cunningham and Mrs. Banks are so far ahead of me when it comes to plotting that it's all I can do to keep up; most of the time I don't know what they're going to do until they're doing it and then I'm like "holy crap, where did that come from? Brilliant!"  They're very manipulative. It's pretty awesome.

Productivity Achieved!

Oh I'm feeling so good about the writing lately!!!! Helloooooooooooo April! LOL. I don't have TONS more time, but things are flipping back and forth between uber busy and normal, which means that I have more time to write when things are normal.  Been getting a lot done!

Chapter 3 of Marriage Training is finally out and I'm working hard at Chapter 4.  I think I'm about a third of the way through it at this point. It's making me happy.  There's a lot more story going on than sex at this point but I think it's building the tension wonderfully.

My main focus is on Venus Transcendent, which I'm thrilled about... it's lovely to get back in with the Stronghold gang. I've missed them.  The good news... I am writing at fairly high speed. The bad news... I'm still at the beginning of the book and the characters have completely turned things around on me from where I had originally planned to go so now I'm looking at the outline I'd originally drafted and going "Fuck... none of this works now."  *Sigh*  Thank you Hilary's mom for making a muck of things! Also, Jessica showdown with her parents came out a little differently than I originally intended at the beginning of Transcendent, so now I've gotta figure some things out. I know where the book is going to go, but the journey to get there keeps changing.  It's kind of like taking a road trip with a van full of other people - I might be in the driver's seat, but they keep changing the next destination because they see a sign for something cool or they need to go to the bathroom or whatever.  We'll get to the final destination eventually, even if it's not by the route I originally intended.

The other good news is, things are still hot!  I sometimes worry that I'm going to one day lose my creativity when it comes to the sex scenes and people will end up bored because I'm writing the same things over and over, but so far there's still new stuff coming out of me. Yay!

Beginning With Birching is doing really well on Amazon and I'm working a little bit on Dealing with Discipline (second book in the Domestic Discipline series), although it doesn't have quite as much of my focus as the other two.  I'm still getting work done on it though, because I'm hoping to get it out in Early Summer rather than late.  Now that I've got a little bit more time for writing I'm feeling very motivated!

I also have a standalone Lit story swirling around my head at the moment... the characters aren't yelling quite as loudly as the ones for my other projects, but I think it'll probably come to a head sometime in the next few weeks.  Fortunately the standalones tend to take very little time for me to write, they're almost just like blowing off steam... taking a break from my usual projects while still being creative, and then I can get back to my other work feeling refreshed and with a new outlook!

But in the meantime... back to work! EXCITEMENT!
