So, in case you missed it, the third and final chapter to Tomboy Tease was posted on Literotica, and now Chapter 3 of Homeschooled is available as well... which is def NOT the final chapter of that series =) It is a bit of a short chapter, but the next one will be longer. I'm looking forward to playing more with Becky. In some ways she reminds me of Chryssa =) Lots of passion and curiosity, but she's not quite as brazen. Plus... she's not in the future or far far away LOL.
Definitely having fun closing out these old series, although I'm also looking forward to the day when I'll be able to start something totally new for Literotica.
I've been having an overwhelming influx of ideas which has made it hard for me to focus on any one story. I actually had to get out the beginnings of an entirely NEW story (a fairly dark version of Beauty and the Beast from first person POV) just to get the voice out of my head so I could concentrate on the stuff I'm supposed to be working on. I'll probably go back to that on once I'm done with my current Dark Angel piece. I've just gotta sort things out in my head and keep that voice quiet until I can finish the other stuff. Stupid voices in my head.
Right now I'm trying to focus on the Dark Angel Meggie Gets Milked (working title lol) and Marriage Training, with a side focus on Homeschooled for Literotica and then working on Broken when I feel like it. Although I think I need to change Broken's title, but we'll see. Since it's going to be from multiple Stronghold POVs, I have no idea what to call it now.
I hope everyone's having a good weekend... anyone doing anything fun for Valentine's Day next week? Hubby and I are going on a V-day date for the first time in years (last year we stayed in, ordered Chinese, turned on Big Bang Theory and played Magic all night); going out to a nice restaurant and then to see The Kingsmen. Super excited about that =) Of course, this will be after a day of work for me. *sigh* But at least we get to have a nice evening together and I'm really looking forward to that! Esp because we have a gift certificate for the restaurant... el cheapo! hahahahaha
I am SOOOOO looking forward to Kingsman! Doing a girl's night for opening night because none of us have any desire to see Fifty Shades, which opens the same day. The BF and I don't really do VDay. We're not terribly romantic :)
ReplyDeleteYeah... I really hate trash-talking other authors, but I HATED 50 Shades. For so many reasons. I have no desire whatsoever to see the movie. Although, I won't lie, if they'd casted Christian Grey correctly, I probably would have gone to see it. As is... no interest.
DeleteKingsman all the way! And if I get in the mood for something kinky, I'll just pop in Secretary to the DVD player! heh heh.
Man, if the Secretary had even 1/10 the publicity that 50 Shades got, things would be so so much better. I'd love it if you'd slip in a 50 Shades discussion moment into a girls' night in the next Stronghold book. I've not read it, the moment I heard that he disregarded a safe word, I was done.
DeleteLOL I've definitely thought about doing it before, but so far I have not because it bothers me when authors trash-talk other authors in their books, so even though I abhore 50 shades, the abusive dominant, the unresearched "facts" about BDSM and the complete lack of regard for SSC in the book, I've so far resisted the temptation to give in and actually talk about it in any of my books.because I'm trying to hold myself to the same standard that I hold other authors.
DeleteBut OMG it is tempting!
Loved the chapters!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIts Carnival here and my friends and I are going to a hotel to do a lot of naughty things and celebrate carnival our own way. Should be fun!!!!!! on actual Vday!!!
Marta
Carnival!!!! I've always wanted to experience Carnival, it sounds amazing =D Have a wonderful time and stay safe!!!!
DeleteTyped up a huge reply and lost it. *sigh*
ReplyDeleteI'd like to say that I'm glad you don't discuss 50 shades or its many misconceptions.
I much prefer your style of education by bringing up bad situations into your story line by either conversation or event and working through how they should be correctly dealt with.
I hate 50 shades as well but I also feel they are a reflection of our society. A dominant male who is handsome, successful but emotionally damaged and fixed by an average girl? Throw in the kink and boom all these girls who always wanted to be tied up and spanked are coming out of the wood work in droves.
Anyways, feminists please don't hate me for that last comment.
I had more to say but I'm not rewriting all of it.
Thanks for the amazing stories. I love reading them on booksie, lit, and amazon.
Keep up the great work and I am definitely looking forward to this dark BntB. I live revamped fairy tales.
Yeah, for some reason blogger does that a lot with the deleting of the comments. Drives me up the wall. I've gotten in the habit of copying any comment I start to type out, in case it deletes it. I don't always need it, but I'm grateful when I have it and I do!
DeleteIt's nice that you noticed I do that =D I try not to get too preachy in my books, but I know I have a tendency to put my characters in situations that I've read in other books or have seen in real life, and then shown how I think it should be handled.
While I love that 50 shades has helped the kinky girls feel like it's okay to embrace what they want/need, I really hate that it's with an abusive dominant who is out of control. That's probably more real life, but the happy ending certainly isn't.
I'm glad you're enjoying the stories so much! And when I get to the B&B novella, I'll be doing the whole dominant handsome rich male who is emotionally damaged and fixed by... well, okay not a totally average girl. She's a little messed up. But that's what makes her fun. =D
